Turing Weekend

Thinking About Computing 4-5 May

"How To Compute" Course 1, 2, 3, 6 May (note: change of room on 2,3 May below)

This school and course have now taken place. Thanks to all the speakers and all those who attended for a successful event!
A full report will appear here shortly.

An Alan Turing Weekend School at Bilgi University

This weekend school organised by the Department of Computer Science at Bilgi University will bring leading speakers from around the world to discuss the theory of computation.
Our weekend is named in memory of Alan Mathison Turing, the British mathematician (and, more famously, cryptologist) who was one of the founders of computational theory.
The seminars are by leading scientists, but they are intended to be introductory in nature and suitable for an undergraduate audience.

Why we are holding this weekend school.
