In the first
three weeks or maybe longer, we will be working on early, easy projects
for building success and knowledge in a new process called self
evaluation, using critical thinking, in the English language, and in
the context ofcomputer and information technology. We will start with Information Gathering Skills, a relatively simple process and move later to Knowledge acquisition. All information gathered must have less than 0.2% quotes in the body of the document. We will discuss how to make a summary and use paraphrases. Soon you will be given an opportunity to be more creative and transfer information to a more visual format using multimedia. You will also practice how to develop a research question related to a topic and later to work on the analysis of your research problem and its solution. You will have time in your classes for frequent brainstorming questions. In these classes we will ask many, many questions and I hope, make good connections about the answers we learn to new knowledge and learning. We will engage in new, daily, vocabulary learning in context! OpenOffice.org download of the Open Office Suite of software.
